Japan between Art and Science – Colored Fish Skeletons as Art pieces

Japan between Art and Science – Colored Fish Skeletons as Art pieces design

New World Transparent Specimen” are colored fish and little animal skeletons sold as Art pieces. Japanese researchers found a way to make the skin, flesh and muscle transparent, and then colored bones. Between art and science ! We saw some of those specimen at the Design Festa Festival in Odaïba last week. Science ? Art Piece ? You tell me…

Lomography Sprocket Rocket

Lomography Sprocket Rocket design

The latest analog lust-object from the folks at Lomography is their new 35mm Sprocket Rocket Panorama ($110) camera. The camera takes super wide shots that cover the entirety of the film including the sprockets. The cameras even have reverse gears so you can rewind the film and overlay another shot over and existing one. Link
