Sassy Hanger Bag

Look at that! It’s a clever bag for carrying home all your newly purchased clothing you got this excellent shopping season. It’s an upside-down hanger, it looks nice, it’s got some great color to it. But what’s this? Is this… yes! It’s detachable, and I can use it to hang my clothing up! What a good little bag you’ve been. I will not recycle you. Have fun, use your products always! Add this to your file of “best packages basically ever.”

This project goes by the name “Get the Hang of It” and it’s designed by DEDE DextrousDesign. You’ll see a couple more designs by the same people in the future (or if this post has been up for some time, in the past!) Carry me home, cleverly designed bag, carry me all the way home.

The Djokovic Watch

The Djokovic Watch design

The N1 watch is a tribute to everyone’s favorite tennis pro, the top ranked Novak Djokovic. The inspiration from the sport’s signature racket pattern is reflected on the inner surface in the form of a net that provides a delicate touch in contrast with its other bold, masculine features, including the No.1 insignia- a nod to Djokovic.

Pinterest: Everything You Wanted to Know About 2012′s Hottest Startup [INFOGRAPHIC]

Pinterest has emerged as the runaway social media hit of early 2012. You probably knew that already. But did you know the company just has 12 people? Or that 97% of Pinterest’s Facebook fans are women?

Lemon.ly, a visual marketing firm, took a deep dive into the data to catalog Pinterest’s stunning rise and produced the infographic below. What’s clear is that with 10 million users, Pinterest has already made its mark in terms of web design influence, if nothing else.

It also has the potential to become a forum for satire, as this fake Mitt Romney account illustrates.

Since the company appears to be the hottest thing going — at least at this writing — consider this a snapshot of the next social media giant or the answer to tomorrow’s trivia question.
