Although we may be too old to remember the days of using book straps, it doesn’t stop us from wanting one for ourselves. Backpacks completely revolutionized the industry making old school book straps obsolete, but after seeing this we wouldn’t be surprised by a comeback.
Hand crafted in Portland, Oregon by designer Wood&Faulk, real name Matt, these old school book straps are nothing short of incredible. Constructed from an assortment of leather piece, a scrap of army blanket, contact cement, and two 1.5″ rings this project was designed for those of you looking for something to tackle during a slow weekend.
