Our good friends over at Hodinkee send word of a stunning new watch from Ralph Lauren that brings together two iconic brands in the watchmaking and automotive worlds: IWC and Bugatti. The new Sporting Watch ($13,200) is inspired by Ralph’s passion for Bugatti with an outer dial made of elm burl, the same wood you would find in the dash of his prized ’38 Type 57SC Atlantic coupe. As for the movement IWC delivers the goods with a 156 component manually wound caliber with a power reserve of 45 hours. Link / Source
