Sprung from Pleats Please, the famous pleating of the designer, an imaginary shimmering flower decorates the most essential source of life, symbol of youth, the natural mineral water evian®.

Thanks to this new pattern, evian® and ISSEY MIYAKE turn your end of the year tables into a field of flowers, full of poetry and humor.

The bottle will exist in two versions, one of them sold exclusively at Colette an on www.myevian.com”

Harvested in the state of Veracruz, Mexico; each bamboo has been carefully selected and treated to increase strength and weather endurance, making it an ideal vehicle in all weather conditions and able to withstand the impact of city streets. The joints are made of steel and reinforced with carbon fiber. Every bamboo is differente so manufacturing has to be handmade, resulting in a unique, durable and stylish bicycle. A Bamboocycle not only doesn’t pollute when riding, but didn’t contaminate when produced.

Elizabeth Gilbert: A new way to think about creativity

“Eat, Pray, Love” Author Elizabeth Gilbert muses on the impossible things we expect from artists and geniuses — and shares the radical idea that, instead of the rare person “being” a genius, all of us “have” a genius. It’s a funny, personal and surprisingly moving talk.

A Quantitative Tap

A Quantitative Tap design

How awesome would it be to have a faucet that pre-measures the amount of water you’d like to come out of it before it comes out of it? Designer Jasper Hou is making that fantasy of cooking pleasure a reality with “No More No Less,” a quantitative tap with pre-control. N.M.N.L. does this with a simple countdown, knowing how much water comes out of the tap on full blast times the amount of time it comes out equals the amount you’ll get. Then there’s an LCD screen for control, temperature, and a 30 second on time.

The LCD screen is even powered by the water rushing below it. The 30 second meter turns the faucet off 30 seconds after the last use to make sure there’s no flooding and to assure low energy expenditure.
